How to add Custom Instagram Story Stickers

We all LOVE Instagram story stickers! It's the best way to save time and add a little something extra to your stories. Adding custom stickers is quite easy ... unless you have an Android device. When I made my first stickers I wanted to test them out and let me tell you, trying to find a tutorial on how to add custom Instagram story stickers on an Android phone was a pain!

You can find so many tutorials on how to do it with IOS and it's really easy. But. With Android, you have a whole bunch more steps that you need to do to get your custom stickers into Instagram!

Today I'm going to take you step-by-step on how to add your own custom stickers + get free Instagram story stickers to get you started!

Instagram story stickers are perfect for adding personal touches and saving you time. You can use custom stickers if you have a personal, blog, and even a business account. Connect with your followers in unique ways and stand out from the rest. Have sayings and elements ready to use and have a cohesive brand style or even just decorate your photos for an occasion.

Instructions

iOS

To get started download/add your custom stickers to your phone.

STEP 1: Start a new Instagram story by pressing the (+) plus sign on your profile picture / your story on the home screen
STEP 2: Go to your stickers on your phone in your gallery (photos)
STEP 3: Choose a sticker you want to use and open it
STEP 4: Press the "share" button & then press the "copy"
STEP 5: Head back to Instagram
STEP 6: Press the text box & press "paste"

TA-DA Your sticker will appear and is ready to re-size & move

Android

To get started download/add your custom stickers to your phone.

STEP 1: Make sure your stickers are in your "camera" folder or "screenshots" folder. You will NOT find your stickers if you put them in a different folder!
STEP 2: Start a new Instagram story by pressing the (+) plus sign on your profile picture / your story on the home screen
STEP 3: Press on the text icon to open up your text box
STEP 4: Press on the emoticon icon on your keyboard
STEP 5: At the bottom, you will see a thumbtack icon, press it
STEP 6: Press the camera icon & select an image/sticker from your images
STEP 7: Once you have your sticker selected press on the blue send icon on the bottom right
STEP 8: This will automatically add it to your "collection" and place it on your story

NOTE: You will need to do this whole process every time you want to access your "collection" or add more stickers
